SLEEP OF MONSTERS: POISON GARDEN (Svart Records, LP/CD)

My friend and translator Ike Vil's band Sleep of Monsters (SOM) has released their new album "Poison Garden" through Svart Records. SOM is perhaps the foremost genuinely occult rock band in Finland: this is dionysian ragnarock´n´roll. "Think of Lee Hazelwood getting drunk with the Abba girls in a metal bar..."

I contributed photography for the inner sleeve and booklet of the album, taken at Sacro Bosco in Bomarzo, Italy, and Quinta da Regaleira in Sintra, Portugal (of which I have written extensively here).
